if i do a swap on a 300zx . wheres the best place to find the VG30DETT and cheapest. also any website with some good deals on parts, cause their all ridiculously expensive.

good luck working on that beast 300ZX are a pain in the *** to work on extremely cramped engine bay, make sure when you have the engine out you take care everything, because once you get the new one in you won't have any room to work on it.
Passwordjdm.com is a very reputable place to get engines from, they don't have VG30's on their website but you should contact them. I would recommend getting on a forum to get answers I am a member of a few car forums that have a lot of awsome info on them. Send me a message if you want more info.

John Paul seems to like disuading people from modding their cars.
First of all, I'd look into the VQ30DET it produces about the same amount of HP as the VG30DETT, but with only 1 turbo (less headaches).
It's a big job, and it's going to take quite some time if you're not familiar with the process, but it could be lots of fun too!
Check out nicoclub.com and go searching before you start asking. Members aren't too fond of answering the same questions over and over.

I just completed a 485 rear axle Hp 300zx 2+2 to Twin Turbo conversion good luck JM auto parts have front clips shipped fron Japan get your motor and trans and everything around them there. Yes the trans is different. And what your doing is very expensive the car we completed with larger turbos $3,500 front mount intercooler 1,000 different radatior condencer and oil cooler $1000 competition clutch test pipes apexi neo and greedy parts larger injectors $1,000 New engine wiring harness special ECM chip $1,000 every where you look there is another $1,000. Larger Stop Tech brakes to stop the beast $3,500 This is a job for the 300ZX mechanic and person with lot's of cash. And It took us 3 months taking our time and we still made the National Z car convention at the begining of this month. One piece drive shaft different front track rods stronger differential mounts and subframe bushings. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
