It is wooden with a slant lid that has a heart shaped cut out in the center of the lid. I had it custom made many years ago. IIt is large enough to put a couple loaves and a couple packages of buns.

I don't have one, my kitchen is ridiculously small. I found out that bread last longer in the fridge, especially since I'm not a consistent bread eater, today I'll have toast and sandwiches and nothing for the next couple of days.

We don't have a "bread bin". We put it in the refrigerator or freezer since we don't use it fast enough to keep it out.

I kept it in the refrigerator for awhile until I learned it makes it go stale faster. Now I keep it in a bag or wrap on the counter. A bin would just take up space unnecessarily. I don't have a lot of extra counter space to give up for something like that.

I think it's stainless steel, pretty nice and we can fit rolls and bread in it at the same time.
