can anyone tell me why? he willnot leave me alone he just sits there and stares at me and wags his tail. i dont get it.

Usually dogs have a tendency to be more keen on following the person that feeds them or the person that spends the most time with them. My brother has a pit bull and it always followed my mom around when she used to be the one that fed it then it started following me around because I started taking care of it. It could be many different reasons though.

Have you been paying more attention to him or been the one feeding him more often lately? Or has your mom been more busy that normal? Working longer hours or anything like that? Usually when a dog starts favoring one person it's because they're more attentive to the dog, so the dog associates them with positive things.

that should be taken as a positive thing. any dog that clings to you like that only shows that it loves and trusts you. or it could be that it's bored and wants someone to play with or just simply wants some attention. my 2 year old dog does the exact same thing. remember that dogs are way smarter than we give them credit for, he might just be curious and wants to know what ur doing.

A puppy is just like a child they are curious and watch what you do, I find it loving accept when I am trying to cook tea and he is under my feet.
Dogs do have thoughts feelings personalities love ect., stop looking at him as JUST a DOG!! they are very intelligent animals

ummm i dont want you to freak and if it does freak you out then dont listen to me. I heard from many ppl that if a pet all of a sudden clings to you It means that there is something wrong with you medically.
