depends on the type of love. if family, I will never sacrifice the love. I can sacrifice the dating type of love for friendship cuz you don't know if the "love" is gonna work out. your friends are forever.

Love blinds all. Friendship should win out because friendship is built over time and sometimes we take our close friends for granted cause they are always there for us. But a close friend is always going to be there. Love can be a fleeting feeling, and can work only one way (ie you think you love some one and the other person is just stringing the other along) even people who think they are deeply in love get divorced after long and short periods of time. So my answer is; people should be more willing to sacrifice a love for a friend but most people never will

Friendships now a days seem to last longer than love. I personally would sacrifice love for friendship, simply because in the end its not a sacrifice at all, if the friendship blossoms on its own then love will follow with out the need of sacrafice of the well implanted friendship.

The reality is that love and friendship if real neither is to be sacrificed. There is no need to explain as it is clear. Those that make this choice is the choice between what they think exists as love and friendship is a compatible combination. One without the other will not be true so your question is wrong from the beginning.

can't separate the two. You can't have true love without friendship.

Would I sacrifice friendship with another person for the one I really love? You betcha. Your love should be your best friend, and if he/she was, wouldn't make you choose between the 2. If a friend is making you choose, they aren't a true friend to begin with.

Love for Friendship. I love my friends to death, but my boyfriend is my other half, competely amazing. He is on vacation right now and we are apart for a whole week, the longest amount of time in 9 months. And I think that I might go crazy
