When your making cakes and the dough is becomes really soft what do u add to it to make it harder?

A cake is the result of batter not dough. Over beating a batter for a cake makes it tough.

If you are making bread and the dough is not strong enough knead flour into it..

What do you mean by cake dough?? I know when we make cookies the dough is put in the refrigerator over night and it is quite firm the next morning. Hope this helps and good luck!

when you make cake why would you want to harden the batter?

dough is often a reference to bread.
