Is it vaccum packed? (Is the package tight on the lobster with no air in the package?) Because if it vaccum packed it should be fine. If not I wouldn't eat it.

It should be if it's packaged really good. I buy frozen lobster tails on sale and stock up, and some sits in the freezer for a couple months and it's still tasty.
