Can we all agree that evil is bad and that we as a group could support this one concept? Or are you so against religion that you can't see any good in it whatsoever?

Ok, if you don't like the word evil, how about agreeing that bad things happen and religion can't be all that bad if it changes some people for the better.

Yes evil is bad.
And yes, sometimes religion is bad too.
Honestly the only time you'll have complete agreement is in a group of one.
If there are two or more present, there WILL be disagreement - at some point - guaranteed.
So just live life doing what you feel is right and good, based on experiences, education and the advice of those you trust.
And do worry so much about religion...

the lables of "good" and "evil" are but subjective constructs of your own mind. there never existed good and evil only creation and destruction, and from the vantage point of something which has been created, it seems like destruction would be the natural choice for "evil". however, there can not be a forward without a backward, and up without a down, or a notion of "good" without a concept of "evil". they truely are one in the same just as your right hand and left hand are both hands. as long as we believe that evil exists, we will see it whereever we look. the moment in which we realize that there is no evil, nor is there any good, we are free to live in peace and the infinite love and neutrality of Oneness

I think we all agree evil is bad. The huge problem is deciding WHAT will we consider evil.

Evil is bad.
Hatred, intolernace, violence, greed etc are all evil.
I believe religious and non religious people should be united in the fight against such evil things.

Yes I do agree, the problem seems to be that badness is so addictive those who practice it become blind to thier actions.
