Yes. I think there is a story behind almost every one of Picasso's paintings. The Title is "Girl with a Boat (Maya Picasso)"
Maya Picasso was the subject behind quite a few of his paintings. She was his daughter, however she found that he seemed more attached to his son Paulo (by Olga Khokhlova) with whom he identified even before his birth. Art Critics believe that he felt this way because he identified with his inner child.
His paintings of his children were often spontaneous. Maya said "When we were at the dining table, he would suddenly say, as he very often did: 'Don't move!' He went off to get paper--a pad or an exercise book--and a pencil or colored crayons, and then came back with them. He was happy, but I was stiff, rigid" Therefore, I believe it is likely that he saw Maya at a moment, playing with her toy boat and immediately wanted to capture the moment for what it was, without the constraints of aesthetic appearance and realism. He wanted to show the child she was, beyond mere appearance, and the pleasure she took in childhood games. This is not one of Picasso's most famous paintings, however. Other paintings of Maya by Pablo Picasso, which might interest you include:

You will see that they are often of her playing. Look at the image again, in context and thinking about its subject, you will probably be able to see in it more than I can tell you. Everyone's interpretation is different.

It's in the STYLE of Picasso, but probably is NOT by him. His most famous daughter's name is Paloma. She makes perfume.
