Again, if you read something in a book that says do not sleep, would you believe it?

I will not do something because I know it is wrong or against the rights of the people and not because some man- corrupted book says it. And also because I know that I am with Jesus through everything.

No. My beliefs have always been that I am special and worth the wait. I am received as a gift only at marriage. Something that I was raised with not from religious beliefs but parental. Now, maybe it was a religious thing with them. Now, as I matured I see that an intimate relationship begins with an emotional connection before a physical. So it isn't a conflict for me.

Not ever P.When I was 13 years old I was in church with my mom and the preacher was preaching the surmon of "If the right eye offends thee pluck it out..." and I asked her why nobody was wearing eye patches....After getting slapped in the face and pinched several times to be quiet,I figured out that these people were full of sh*t! My religious beliefs consist of the fact that God is love.Nothing more, nothing less.If you or anyone can tell me how or why that could ever be wrong or with misinterpretation, please let me know.Because that is the Alpha and the Omega........
Meanwhile I look at the cutest of fellas who constantly seem to show up.Sometimes their names are unknown, and sometimes we are lucky to know certain people. And we watch them grow or dwindle depending on their current direction. But the constant remains....Love.....You asked do we love you,yes we do.I do,no matter what another says.
Hugs P!

Yes, but it was as I drew closer to him in prayer and worship over the years I gained perspective.

I know that God is just.
A just God cannot judge me for that which I did not choose and cannot change.
I also know that a just God would not have me entrap a woman emotionally, marry her, and not be the husband that she deserves. Some gay men marry because they feel it is what God wants, but I can't believe that God wants me to do any woman such a deep wrong.

The decision to accept myself and be true to myself is good and just, and truly is the only way forward, so...
No, there is no conflict.

Not in the least. I know which is more important. My sexuality. Of course, I have never had a religion to conflict with.

Not at all. I was raised to have personal standards.
I was taught to not have sex with a person I was not married to and I have been single again for 10 years and happily so. Sex without marriage is useless and I just cannot even begin to see how people can even think of sex without love!

No,my faith has enabled me to control my sexuality so that I use it in the manner that God intended,I am not one of those who view my faith or church to be a stranglehold on my sexual being but rather a safeguard against my mis-use of this great gift.

When I first got saved, I almost got involved with a non-believer who came onto me strong all of a sudden after ignoring me for years.

Thank God I didn't take it too far........I walked out of her apartment and haven't seen her since.

Happily married now to a beautiful Christian woman....8 years after the fact.
