If a guy told his girlfriend that he wanted to go on a break so that he can get his life together (job, school...ect.), does that mean he isn't interested anymore?

It depends on the guy. Alot of times handling a realtionship if you are trying to do things like go to school or further your carreer is very hard. You should be happy for him that he is wanting to better himself. If you are worried about the real reason he is doing this or that you both are completely over then talk to him about it. It doesn't mean he cares less about you it just means he has got his priorities straight.
A realtionship is not about two people creating a whole it is about two whole people becoming one.

Yes it does, it means he has definatly lost the interest for some apparent reason. No one who ever said that really ment it, that they needed to find themselves. What they needed to do was to spend time with someone else for a few weeks (no longer) and to think about it, if they really want them or you.
I guess I can say that after 6 months or after a year sometimes they come back for you, but then again sometimes not too, so it is a break up. The girl must decided...
to wait for him, or not to wait for him...
That is the question. The only question that remains.
I would not call it a bunch of games because it is not a game, they guy knows that too. You seriously wanted the answer to this question, he will seriously tell you. I need space, I need time. It is no joke or game. It means good-bye for now and maybe fairwell forever, but maybe not too.
He does have to figure it out... Was it just cause you were pritty, that he wanted you. Is the sex better with the other girl? Maybe you different than he expected, like your character and habits. Maybe he hear too much about you from your friends or ex. Maybe his family is bugging him about you and tring to get him to see the other girl. Maybe she's rich. Maybe he wants to see if it will affect you, just to see if you are crazy for him or not, but it does mean bye-bye and not just for some space, and it has nothing to do with himself, it has to do with taking a few steps back away from you.

what does it matter... tell him, "sure, i understand" don't call him again, i wouldn't return his calls for at least two weeks.... go out and have fun.. .meet new friends... maybe you'll find another, better guy... definitely don't sit around waiting for what could have been... if he comes back and you haven't found anyone that's good to you, then think about getting back together, otherwise tell him... you'll need a little longer break... because I'm having fun with Johnny right now

50/50 sometimes its hard having a bf/gf because there is always the expected phone call, why arent we going out? i never see u anymore? yadayada yada but it also means as an excuse, try to see it from his point of view and see which one it is.

well personally i'v never known what that means....
i dont think it is fair to someone if you half way break up with them
if i were you i would ask him what he considers taking a break is...
if it were me i would just tell him that we are going out or we arent....
but only he could tell you if he is still interested

well to break it down there is another girl maybe one of your friends and he wants or have had sex with her and he will either leave you for her or when he is done haveing fun want too come back too you,do not let that happen leave him now whild the getting is good.

no just means that he feels that being with you is distarcting him from acheiving his goals. just like my girl told me. that she needed to get focus for school and she couldn't with me. for several reason.
