I am a Weim lover and rescuer. I would love to hear stories about your Gray Ghost - funny things they do, where you got your Weim, etc.

amybell - they are high energy dogs, but such lovers. as long as they get plenty of exercise you should have one of the best dogs ever. i volunteer for a rescue organization in georgia. feel free to check out our website (www.atlantalovesweims.org).

I am a Weim lover! To be Sure!
I currently have 6 in my home. 5 of my own and a rescue boy who came in on Saturday!
I couldn't live a day without them, but I caution preospective owners, they are simply not for everyone. They are NOT a lab or a golden retriever. They require an experienced dog owner.

I have a male Weimaraner Dakota. I bought him from a breeder almost 2 years ago. I am currently looking to adopt a Weimaraner from a rescue. He has been known to steal food right off the counter!! He sleeps in bed with me ( my husband works nights) so I feel very protected. He likes to go to the lake and for long walks. I couldn't think of anything better in life than a gray ghost as a pet!! Thanks for helping the dogs that need good homes!!

I used to have a cousin of weimaraner the viszla ! Love them both ! Very wonderful dogs. My old dog BEN used to crawl under the covers to sleep and put his head on the pillow ! He would also fetch clean diapers for my brother and dispose of the soiled diapers ! He was great.. We got him from a breeder that was well respected and had award wining bloodlines.. Though Ben wasn't a show dog he was a trained hunting dog.. He was voice, hand and whistle trained. Very, very good with children and a gentle fun loving dog... I miss him very, very much..
