I like to think of it this way--if I kiss my fiancee passionately, does this bring him closer to God? Probably not! Kissing passionately, outside of marriage, will only lead two people to be feeling/thinking about things that should occur within a marriage. Basically, it will either lead to lustful thoughts, which are far from God, or it will spiral to more passionate acts.

I think that one of the callings of a Christian is to not only follow Christ, but bring others closer to Christ. This is reflected in our actions, in our words, etc...so whenever I am not sure, I just ask myself...is this going to bring person X closer or further from God?

In a marriage, kissing, so long as its not lustful and selfish, brings the husband and wife closer together, and leads to an act that unites them and glorifies God, because it is through Him that you are unified. It is an act of love and selfless giving, unlike lust.

I, personally, don't see anything wrong with it. Its really a decision that is between you and God.

If its important to you to wait until marriage before you have sex, only you can determine what's going to be a stumbling block in your path to reach that goal. If passionately kissing gets you so flustered that you can't think straight, its probably not a good idea. But if you and your significant other can keep your heads on straight, there's no reason that you can't enjoy some smooching. :)

Yes but only to your wife and only after marrying her. Before marriage is forniation.

Kissing in public is not good. You encourage children to start early. They involve in pre-martial sex. Because their hormons are extremely active in young age and they can not control themselves like an adult can.

In private, yes. Publicly? Well, should ANYONE passionately kiss in public? There are things called dignity and respect.

Why don't you use your own judgment instead of believing what other people say?
