ok i was thinking that it was just the basic concept of "everything created by scientific proof" instead of god creating the earth and humans..is this wrong..so its basically a bunch of bull..i mean i dont believe in god or christianity...but from what i hear tom cruise is crazy and as is his religion

so its pretty much like that episode of south park about paying the guy to learn the new religion,,and his thetan level was high so he was supposedly their new master..so its whoever beleives in it the most that is their "massiah"

why did he?
They have self-help courses on communication, studying, fighting peer-pressure, shaking drugs, self-confidence, and generally how to feel good about your life without relying on someone else for it...
****, he is an actor in Hollywood. That stuff is all perfect for them. Compare any of the ones that did it with the other hollywood people and Im not sure why you would even ask the question.
And as far as I can see, the long list of ones doing it strike me as being happy open people. About the only thing anyone seems to hold against them is that they are happy open and scientologists. Compare that to the rest of the hollywood crowd that is always in the news. Id much rather have the kinds of articles that Cruise, Travolta, Seinfield, Alley have than the ones about Gibson, Spears, Jackson.
Edit: no there is no "top" you get to by doing it better. The end goal is to be OT (operating thetan) which means in full control of your own environment without relying on others

Basically scientology is a giant scam that has people believing that the evil overlord Xenu froze some aliens, flew them over to Hawaii on DC-8's (except with rockets), dropped them into the volcanoes where their spirits then took over man causing confusion and problems of today. HA HA!
You are then told by the scientologists that you are extremely depressed and should pay lot's of money to take courses that make you even more depressed. All in all, it's a huge SCAM!

YES its JUST like the South Park cartoon!
Scientologists recognize Stan as being the reincarnation of their religion's founder, L. Ron Hubbard, and apoint him as their new spiritual leader. And he changed the rules so that they don't have to be afraid of DC8's anymore. But shhhhhhhh! That is supposed to be secret stuff that the rest of the scientologists don't know.
Edit: question. How can south park have got it right whenever they said "this is what scientologists actually believe" when you told us that most of them don't know that stuff? How can they believe what they don't know?

Ay... It's sort of this system that supposed to cure you of sadness, depression. It's bogus because you have to pay them money and do weird procedures (like holding metallic rods, not blinking while people are shouting at you) but it actually works if you are gullible enough to believe in it. Believing that you will get better is medicine by itself. It's called the placebo effect.

South Park got it wrong when they talked about the E-meter measuring "Thetan levels", but they got everything RIGHT any time they had "THIS IS WHAT SCIENTOLOGISTS ACTUALLY BELIEVE" superimposed on the screen.

a global scam. they make you pay money for their religion. they claim that you've had billions of lives over trillions of years of time, and that you have memories from all of those lives. but you can't remember them in your present form, so you have to pay money so that they can erase all of these 'frames' of life for you so that you can get back to your original form. plus, all of this was written by a science fiction writer (elrond hubbard, i think that's how you spell his name).
