Oh my goodness, this sounds like me...
I never thought I was anxious...
I never thought I had anxiety...
Now my mom who is in a nursing home at age 81 has the problem of anxiety and she is on medication for that, but her problems are more centered around being in a closed room with lots of other people and she doesn't like crowds...
She actually throws up her meals when confronted with other folks around...
She also has Alzheimer's but that is completely different in her attitude of forgetting things and not being able to care for herself...
But heaven help me, I never thought I could be having anxiety with those kinds of symptoms...
I am on plenty of medication too with pain problems from my back surgery...
So I assumed my sleeping problems were from all my pain...

Sounds like it is. I had anxiety for many years and took it upon myself to heal myself instead of going to doctors just to be gave medicines with terrible side effects. ALso sound like you may have OCD which I also have. I am not a doctor by no means, just a social worker but you sound like you have the same symptons I had for many years. Mt. Dew is not good to drink, of course my favorite also. I dont know your diet but I would cut back on the soda and every time you get all worked up get to the source of it. Does that other person really care that much about you or are you making that up in your mind? Just as most do, its probably just your inner voice. If your under alot of stress is will also give you lots of anxiety to deal with.

I think it depends on how long this has been going on. If this is something that just happened then I would wonder if you were under a stressful-but temporary situation. If this has persisted for over two weeks, I would make an appointment with a therapist to help better define if talk-therapy would help or if you should see a doctor.

Yeah, its a sign of panic. Especially being tired all the time,,sleeping shuts it out. Try some medication or talk to someone.

Sounds more like obsessive compulsive disorder rather than anxiety. Talk to a psychiatrist who can give you meds for your problem if it really bothers you that much. If not, learn to live with it like i have learned to do.
