The fact that people whom The Nolte has never even met are more caring and attentive towards me than certain family members.

Precious time spent with my loving/lovable family, beautiful music/artwork, architectural wonders, the glory of God's creation: gorgeous sunsets, the sound of ocean waves washing up onto the shore, birds singing, thunder and lightning, the sound of rain on the roof of a metal building; the full moon reflected off water, a black night with a star-filled sky, trees sighing in the breeze, the aurora borealis (Northern Lights), shadows of clouds moving across the Flint Hills in Kansas, the sound of wind blowing across a field of golden-ripe, ready-to-harvest wheat, people fervently singing hymns or their national anthem, a baby cooing and burbling, watching wildlife, flowers, butterflies, rainbows, the first morning after a snowfall - before the first step has made its track ... and so much more!
I am awed and amazed by the things humankind can create and build, but that all pales when compared to what God has given us.

Many things might move me, on a daily basis I'm a hopeless romantic .... so certain music can make tears roll down my eyes.
What got me today was a story of a woman with her 1 year old kid who jumped of the 4th floor from a balcony in the most prestigious shopping store in the Netherlands yesterday.
The baby died today, and she's still in critical condition in hospital, Nobody knows who she is, and nobody knows why she committed such a desperate act.
But that moved me today, not a nice story...but I just could not help wondering why....why....why.....all day.

God [moves me], when I see something beautiful in nature. Because of earlier events in my life, I've sometimes asked Him to send me a creature, e.g., bird, to see. Once when I prayed that request, and I don't do it often, three days later, He surprised me with a "praying mantis" on my card door handle.
I have pictures of that praying mantis, because I just bought a digital camera shortly before that. I got the pictures blown up, and they are awesome.
I think God is more romantic than any man could ever be, here on earth. It's not the kind of intimacy most people would think about. It's about His love. And I thank Him for "moving" me like that. I smile for days, and say Thank You, Lord.

true love, something with no element of expectation but with total dedication, empathy. it could be smallest of the task or deed , something that happens in a fun like mode. wherein you certainly enjoy just being part of the game & enjoy the play.
