My daughter is 5 and she has her first loose tooth! How much did you give your kids for their first tooth?

I believe that I got a dime or a quarter at most for mine. Now I would give them $1 for the tooth, and maybe some other special treat, like ice cream or something soft since their teeth may be a little sore.

congratulations on your childs first tooth loss, be sure and brush.

Our tooth fair rate has been $5.00 first tooth premium followed by $2.00 per tooth thereafter. We did have an occassion where my daughter knocked out both front teeth on Christmas eve (rough housing with brother) and that was worth $10.00-two teeth at a time and holiday premium. Give whatever you think, if you give more, just let them know that the tooth fairy doesn't do that every time.

Before you give your child more than a dollar listen to this. We gave our son 5 dollars and a note from the tooth fairy. He also got a new book on "how to brush his teeth correctly." Now he loved it all...a bit too much. He started losing his teeth almost WEEKLY. He was actually pulling them OUT so he could get more money. The last time he did this the tooth fairy left him and note about taking care of his teeth and NOT pulling them out to let them come out by themselves..and didn't leave him not ONE single dollar.

If I could have done this all over I would've given him a dollar and a note from tooth fairy and that's all.

Final note: ALL children are different.

A dollar for a regular tooth (kids have lots of teeth), and maybe for the first tooth because if you give them more one time they will miss it.

Well, I got a quarter when I lost my first tooth, my child got a dollar for their first lost tooth. Now isn't she lucky the world got more expensive :P To her it was a million dollars, the tooth fairy also gave her a pack of bubblegum trident with the dollar.

My son first tooth he got 5 dollars for me and he got 5 dollars from his father. That was for the bottom teeth. His two front ones we payed him more for those ones. I think we payed him 6 for each tooth. We made it a big deal for the front two teeth. He was 5 when he lost his two bottom ones and 5 1/2 when he lost the front two teeth

No detailed answer need to this question. i explain simply. The rowdies in cenema will say often kidnapping a wife or a son or a daughter for something. it is their dialogue. ''i know if i do harm to you, this will echo him'' ''if i hit here and pain will be there'' understand this? if i hit here the pain will be there. How? it is affection. so, if one tooth brighten by the brush, every tooth brighten so it is called tooth brush since a brush can not clear a single tooth. please compare this with if i hit here the pain will be there.

A half doller coin.
as a matter of fact that is what I always got from the tooth fairy. It was cool because now I have a coin collection that I started when I lost my baby teeth.
