Hi Ath,
You are right! And I believe in God. Jehovah God that is. The "guy in the white robe" was his son! He even said that there are other gods. One of the ten commandments even commanded against having other gods before him. He was the first God and the spirit world believes that also. There is a scripture in the bible that says "the demons believe and they do shudder" If the demons believe I think it would be a good idea to look at the information in the bible and not believe everything that you are told. That is the main reason there is so much trouble with religion today. Everyone is believing what they are told and not looking for themselves at truth. What exactly is Athiest anyway, but a belief in another god?

Oh no. Christians are never ever wrong about anything or anyone. Most of them, the ones you find online here, have crawled out from under an old rock, or an old rusty bible somewhere they bought at an antique store in the midwest or the bible belt, where only whites, rich, and stupid male-dominated churches thrive. Most of the chistians you find trolling the internet sights, fixing the cross-hairs of their bigoted and narrow-minded opinions of "truth" and "righteousness" -- fixing their sights on freedom-loving non-Christains all over the world, will never consider for a moment that they could be wrong about anything. I take that back.......whoops. I almost forgot: the only thing christians might concede they were wrong about was ever giving people like you and me the right to exist at all. If it were up to them, you and I would be exiled on a slow boat to China.

To your first responder: Jesus was not 'the only one to raise from the dead":
The first human recording of God-like Savior born of Virgin mother and later being Resurrected from the dead is found in Egypt, 3-4,000 years before Christ. The Story focuses on Osiris, Isis, and Horus, reputably known as the original Holy family; the father, the mother, the son.
Further: Apollonius is also well documented to have risen from the dead.
Further reading on Gods, their virgin births, healings, teachings, foretellings, and deaths with assention into heaven can be found below.

I don't know about a white robe and a beard. THAT god doesn't exist any more than zeus or any of the other myths.

Is this your attempt at tearing down straw men you created in the vain imagination of your mind?

First, there was no god before the beginning. Jehovah was here in the beginning, "In the beginning, Elohim created the heavens and the earth." How much farther back can you go?

Jehovah said "There were no gods before me, no gods were formed after me, there are no gods with me. I alone am God and there is none else" and "You shall have no other gods before me" meaning the false little gods you create in the vain imagination of your mind like what you did with the "white robe and beard" god that you made up.

Get your facts straight before you go trying to tear down straw men - it only makes YOU look like a fool. You remind me of the kid in school that went around with a paper taped to his back saying "Kick me". Don't you know that everybody's just laughing behind your back???

Now, go pick up all that straw from your straw man - it's just making a mess!

Christianity is a patriarchal institution which adapted pagan goddess worship rituals, rites and beliefs to convert the masses. The "peasant" pagans were forced to accept the newest controlling influence through violence, torture, intolerance, and ignorance by greedy, power hungry men.

Mother God gave birth to all, including gods and goddesses, humans, earth, heavens, seen and unseen.

Faith and worship isn't like a trip to the Vegas craps or roulette tables. People believe in what they feel comfortable with, taught as a child or learned through their lives. There is no need to waste time thinking about who is right and who is wrong. As long as people live their life according to the golden rule and try to good with lives does it really matter who or what they believe in?

There was nothing before God, the one and only true God. His name is Jehovah. I am not a JHW, but that is His name.
I'm a Christian all Christians believe in God named Jehovah.

There are only false gods. They were created by mans imagination.

God always has been, and always will be.

Ezekiel 21:7
And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel 21:9
Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished.

Only if you start with the assumption that some god exists, and then give each in that list an equal probability of existing.

There is no "wrong" perception where God is concerned.

God reveals Him/Her/Itselve to every creature according to how that creature can best understand the Divine.

If you understand and commune with God as Buddha, as Allah, as Vishnu, or as Appolo, Zeus, Ra, Pan, etc., thus, so He is.

What is "right" and what is "truth" is not to be found in any book. It is found in your heart; in your own personal communion with the Divine.
