To be honest I hope I do, the main reasons I joined was to serve my country and see other countries in the process, and what is the training like for this MOS? fairly easy? Hard as hell? lol

Like others have said, it depends on your unit whether or not you deploy. You could be assigned to a unit that does not have a mission to deploy or you could go to a unit that is gearing up to go and you're one of the last ones they were waiting on. Every Company/Battery/Troop level unit has at least one 92Y assigned to help keep them squared away. If you stay in for 20+ years you will get to see alot of different types of units.
Your AIT isn't all that hard from what I hear. Ft Lee is often referred to as Ft Leisure. It's in a great part of the country make sure you take advantage of your time off. If you really want to go to a deploying unit make sure that your Drill Sergeants and Instructors know. Sometimes they can help hook you up, especially if you're squared away.
One last thing, once you get into your supply room remember that those supplies in there were acquired to be used by Soldiers. Don't be some greedy little miser and hold on to everything.
Good Luck.

Yes, you will deploy. Your basic will be just like everyone elses. As far as your Advanced Training in Supply, can't be that difficult physically, but you will have a lot of memory work to do. There is a lot to keeping track of a units TO&E. Just a lot of paperwork, inventories, purchasing, etc. To me that would be boring. I had to help out our Unit Supply Sgt. when I was a young troop. The First Sergeant and CO found out I could type, and stuck me along side the Unit Supply Clerk retyping inventory sheets, etc. getting ready for an AGI (Annual General Inspection). That was when we still had typewriters, white out, and carbon paper. It sucked.
Good luck in your MOS.

Your deployments depend on your unit, not your MOS. But there is a good chance you will deploy. (It's not as bad as the media makes it out to be).
I was not a 92Y, but for me the hardest part about AIT was not the actual job training, but the living condidtions. In AIT you still have drill sergeants and they're not always the happiest people. The DS's in AIT were (for me) more unbearable than the ones in basic.

Yes, more than likely, you will deploy. You will see other countries but, according to my son who has been with the Army's 1st Cav in Iraq for the past year, Iraq is about the last country you would want to see. Filthy dirty, smelly, and unbearably hot. Not exactly a picnic when you are in full gear weighing 70+ pounds.

you have the same chance of deploying as anyone else. You deploy by unit, not MOS.
