I have no goals to stop climate change. Climate change is a naturally occurring phenomenon and there is nothing to be done about it, no matter what the "inventor of the Internet" says on the subject!

It has been proved that flatulence from cattle produces more so-called "greenhouse gases" than all the vehicles in the world. I am helping by eating as many cows as possible.
Special Note:
Did you know that these supposedly "energy efficient" fluorescent light bulbs contain mercury? If improperly disposed of by tossing into the regular garbage and then the local landfill the mercury will leach into ground water and eventually our food supply. Fluorescent bulbs should be disposed of as hazardous waste since that's what they are.
LEARN THIS: THERE ARE NO SOLUTIONS, ONLY TRADE-OFFS. If you want more of "A" then you must be satisfied with less of "B".

You can act act at different level to avoid getting a worse situation , first by simply recycling the maximum of your waste, you can sort old papers, glass, plastics packaging...
It'll take you a few seconds more to make it, but it'll allow to re-use the raws it contains instead of processing totally new products. And above all it won't produce more CO2 by burning in a waste plant.
Another way of saving energy is to use at the most the public transport in function of your possibilities. You also can simply take your bike instead of using your car when you are going in a short distance. It'll help at a small scale but it also can help others to become aware of the situation by seeing your example.

I don't think we can have a control over the climate. Anything that causes change in climate is natural in nature, it is beyond human control and it is done naturally for no human intervention needed!

I have chosen my personal goal to be education.
I do some things personally; compact fluorescent lights, insulation, buying wind power, economical transportation, etc.
But, as a professional environmental scientist, I can have more impact through education.
For example, take the misleading stuff about the mercury in compact fluorescent bulbs stated above.
Using compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) actually reduces mercury pollution, no matter how you dispose of burned out bulbs.
Fossil fuels contain mercury. Using incandescent bulbs causes more mercury to be emitted from power plants. More than the tiny amount (0.005 grams or less) that is in a CFL.
It's better if you dispose of old CFLs properly so that even the tiny amount of mercury is not released. But, no matter how they're disposed of, CFLs reduce mercury pollution.

I have none. If I was actually worried about global warming, I wouldn't be using valuable energy to power my computer in order to ask questions about global warming.

DRIVE LESS=u will save one pound of carbon dioxide for every mile that u dont drive!....CHECK UR TIRES=keeping them inflated properly can improve gas mileage up to 3% and every gallon of gas saved keeps 20 pounds of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere!!!...USE LESS HOT WATER...PLANT A TREE...ADJUST UR THERMOSTAT..
