For me as well as any other thinking person it is the negation of the meaning of the word "death". Death MEANS the cessation of life. So there's no such thing as "LIFE" after 'DEATH' since death is the end of life. Get it now?

Even in death we have a choice. Also if we do choose to move on, there are even more choices. Our souls can stay where they have no heavy bodies to carry around, or, they can choose to move on and be reborn to earth.
There are a lot of great books out there on the subject.

All people are destined to die once then to face judgment. From there God separates the "sheep" from the "goats"- the sheep to His right and the goats to His left. To the sheep he says, "Come, and enter my rest." To the goats, "Depart from me!"
Quite simply, the sheep are the ones who accepted and followed Jesus. The goats are those who have rejected Jesus. What happens to you depends on your decision, right now. Do you accept or do you reject Jesus as Lord and Savior. Choose now!

I will be exactly where I am now. Point to your conscious awareness or at least tell me exactly where it is. It is exactly where it has always been... outside of space and time, in the constant now. As far as I can tell, that is where it will still be when my body passes away.

hopefully a lot better than this,,,sometimes i cant wait to get there just to see my sister =) and also to see the expression on a lot of peoples faces who thought they would never see me there: "hi remember me?"
