i found your question sad :-(.. i have to sons and even if they did end up being gay it wouldnt change how much i love them.. but just because a guy is close to his mum certainly does not mean hes gay.. i thing you should stop listening to word on the street ,,or change the street!!! google it and see what the statistics on that are.. hmm and if im close to my daughter does that mean shes going to be a lesbian?? hope i havent offended you tho in my answer.

On my street, when a man respects his momma, you know how he will treat his wife. My husband is one of them and believe me, if you met my husband you would know in an instant that he is not gay. I've met the biggest and baddest of them and when it comes to their women in their life they treat them like gold. Finding your answer on the street compared to what is in your heart is two different worlds. You might find that the streets do lie. Exactly what determines your love for your mother? Is it how other people feel about their mothers? If you're part of the street, then you need to put the new word out and make the ones that feel someone is gay for respecting their mother, WRONG. Are you a leader or a follower?

Being a mommas boy probably means he loves his mum a lot and relies on her a lot. This is not a bad thing as long as he does not overdo it.
And I think this does not have anything to do with being gay.
Love for one's mum is definitely very different from love for one's valentine.
There may be many reasons why a man is a gay. But I don't think being a mommas boy is a determinant.

Not true I have a friend who is gay & his brothers are not. The two of them are momma's boys. Still live with her in thier 30's & ask for money. She buys all the food. The gay one lives in a huge apartment in new york has a good job & only comes home once a year.

No

and the streets are full of ignorant morons who cant get a job and turn into drug addicts and loosers who murder each other over percieved silly turf issues messing up the neibourhood

Gays are often but not always creative but may be anyone.

The Spartans were mostly gay or bi sexaul... and the toughest most psychotic warriors of the ancient world...

ie most of the soldiers depicted in the movie 300 would have had gay sex.

would you call them *******?

No connection whatever. Shallow, ignorant people judge on what they see only because it doesn't take any effort (or brains), but sexual orientation is on the inside only, not the way we act, dress, talk, etc. Being gay is being sexually and emotionally attracted to someone of the same sex, and not to the opposite sex. Only the person himself would know that. And certainly not until later in adolescence. Some professional football players are gay. I dare you to call them a "momma's boy."

Obviously the streets do lie. Where'd you hear that anyway? In the play ground? What's wrong with a boy being close to his mother? Why do you insist on labeling people? Maybe you're the problem. Are you worried?

No it is a lie.
My brother was a momma's boy and loves to cook and all kinds of stuff. He doesn't find men attractive though he tells his female friends if they have a keeper or need to ditch the guy. He has been married for about 5 years now and can't keep his hands off his flipping wife whom I cannot stand. Everything his mom says to him is gold and his wife and mother get along real well.

Well the streets just obviously lied, cuz my bro was a mommas boy and was def not gay. Also Ive known several guys and dated guys that were Mommas boys and um yea they're not gay. I don't think being a Mommas boy turns your child gay...that's absurd.

If a boy is blessed with a nurturing mother, it is natural for them to be close.

My son was a 'momma's' boy for years. Now he is happily married to a wonderful woman and has a beautiful son of his own.

After he married, they moved to another state. Most of the time I hear from him through his father. This is fine with me.

I know if something goes terribly wrong, he will look to me for comfort.

I think this is they way things should be. As a mother, love your children with all your heart. When the time comes to step aside...do so without hurt feelings.
