Because some hypocritical Catholics follow the advice of the church that contraception is wrong BUT DONT FOLLOW ITS ADVICE NOT TO HAVE PRE MARITAL SEX.
If you are having sex use protection, because you are already commiting a "sin" anyway.

Your link never said that Catholics were spreading HIV faster than any other group....where did you see this?
Now, condoms is not scarce in Latin America or anywhere else in the west; are you saying that Catholics do not use Condoms because of Church Teachings?????
But remember the Churches Teaches that there should be no sex until marriage. So which church law is easier to break....having sex before marriage or having sex without a condom?????
Ther could be more to your link than meets the eye.

You are twisting the inaccurate claim of the story.
Judeo-Christian tradition has taught for thousands of years:
1. Single people should be celibate.
2. Married people should be faithful to each other (adultery is wrong).
3. Married couples should welcome God's gift of children and, therefore, artificial birth control is against the will of God.
If the world is going to ignore teachings about chastity (1 & 2), then why is the world so upset about teaching artificial birth control (3)?
People who are already ignoring the more important teachings about chastity (1 and 2) should have no problem ignoring the less important teaching of artificial birth control (3).
Even if a person infected with AIDS was to use a condom to help protect his or her spouse, condoms are not 100% effective (read the box) and the spouse may be infected and die anyway. A person who truly loves their spouse would not endanger them in this way.
In regards to sex outside of marriage, the Church makes it a practice not to tell people how to sin. With or without a condom:
+ Fornication is still fornication
+ Adultery is still adultery
With love in Christ.

The Catholic Church promotes protecting your fly zipped and your legs crossed till you're in a loving, dedicated marriage, and open to the cutting-edge of toddlers. Following this coaching would not purely ward off AIDS and save so plenty greater lives than condoms do, regardless of the undeniable fact that it could additionally save souls. i think of God gave us the superb "advice" ever interior the seventh Commandment: You shall no longer commit adultery. (i think of He relatively meant that one. do no longer you?)

Oh, the nasty things that can be written about this one! But I'll refrain and simply say that some practices need to be accomodated for, whether you're religious or not. Banning life jackets and rafts when the ship is going down will only doom everyone onboard.

because it says go out into the world and multiply. they don't use condoms because it's against their religion. The problem is some of them are told if you carry around condoms you are planning to commit a sin of having sex outside wedlock. So they don't carry the condom and when the time comes to getting down and dirty there is no condom to be found. where as they should stop and get some the just do it and take the consiquences.

The article answers the question. No condoms. But then, you aren't really asking a question, you're just trying to start an anti-Catholic rant. Yawn

People are stupid. If anyone has sex they should use protection, period. It's a cop out to put it on the church. Yes, the church is sexually retarded, but people don't have to be. People should employ common sense to their sexuality and stop letting an old virgin tell them what to do.

The pope actually said that getting aids was better than using a condom.
EDIT: The new pope really did say getting aids was less sinful than using a condom. He said this earlier this year.

How is the Church spreading HIV and AIDS?
Not the Church's fault that people have sex outside of marriage and pass along this disease.
Want to cure AIDS? Stop having sex. The only guaranteed way to stop it.
I quit listening to anything the U.N. has to say.
