The spirit is found in the war torn meadows and the peaceful towns.
The spirit chooses it's path and the company kept..moment by moment and lifetime after lifetime.
It all adds up....the sum of the parts become one.

Wow...another brain blowing question! You're killing me here! LOL. The universe gives us back exactly what the collective consciousness creates.....so if we want peaceful meadows and NO war torn towns....it is up to us. One person at a time.

I lived in Beirut Lebanon during parts of the civil war, and let me tell you, it was the most spiritual place I have ever been. When lives are on the line, something beautiful happens to people. All of the everyday divisions, such as wealth, social status, and material possessions become irrelevant. People help each other, they talk, and they care. Just look at how people joined together when 9/11 happened. All this is just spirit manifested in human love.

Do you want to be around people you "like", or do you want to learn about Jesus, the only name by which you can be saved? I was a JW for many years, and they will be your friend, until you become smart enough to stop trying to show them you are a good Christian person, by delivering their magazines for year after year, and not being allowed to have higher education...you think YOUR moms bad? Wait till you discover the truth about the history of Jehovah's Witnesses. If you want friends and fun, join the watchtower. If you want to become a true Christian, pray and ask the King in Command, Jesus, to show you the true way. The road is before you..make a choice that you know would make Jesus, the Son of God who was sent for you, happy. Blessings.

This sounds like the good old question:
"If god is good then why is there suffering in the world"
This has a simple answer; there is no good without bad, there is no faith without a test.
The second issue is that if things are 'going well' its not an indication of the holy spirit. Afterall people who follow God are traveling along a harder path than those who don't so its more likely things won't always be 'going well'.

Do you find peace in a meadow if you do not bring it with you? Can we not be at peace within when confronted by strife?
I don't know this spirit you mention, but I look for peace where ever I go.

My spirit would prefer a peaceful meadow, walking on the dirt and seeing clear blue sky's.

The spirit is mine
I hold it precious in my being
The spirit is at peace,
man makes war and tears it into pieces.
The spirit is free
to live and to learn,
man makes it either a peaceful meadow
or a war torn town.
The spirit is mine to keep
The warring world shatters it into pieces.

The surroundings may not mean as much as the spirits company and how that company accommodates the spirit.
