No, they only have acces to certain general information about you. However it is said that if you opt out, your score my jump 1-5 points. Visit www.optoutprescreen.com to opt out from those offers.

It will if someone steals your identity from one of these offers!!!! It happened to me! Call the 3 credit monitoring services and put a fraud alert out on your credit report right away. This is the fastest way to stop the credit card offers and you get 90 days to opt out. This is perfectly legal because all you have to do is SUSPECT you could be the victim of fraud and if your getting active credit cards in the mail, this is very likely!

Go to the website below and read it ALL! It is a great site that's all about repairing your credit reports!

You should especially check the credit monitoring section. You will find an Equifax link there where you can get all 3 credit reports from all 3 bureaus for the price of one. This is the best way to keep an eye on your credit and all the phone numbers you need are there too! The special offer is worth it and credit monitoring is the best way to protect yourself! Trust me, I've been through this one before and you don't want to go through it!

It would only affect your credit score if you activated the card for use. If not activated, the card should be cut into small pieces and discarded.

No effect occurs on a credit score if the card is not accepted.

They shouldn't be sending unsolicited credit cards, only offers for credit cards. An offer won't affect your credit -- if you don't accept it -- because they can't look at your credit without your permission.

Are you talking actual credit cards or just the offers?

The offers don't affect your credit score at all. You can opt out at this site: https://www.optoutprescreen.com/?rf=t .

No. Not if you did not apply for them.
