First of all, that Andrew guy that answered this question is wrong. The PS3 is a Bluetooth console. The Xbox 360 is a regular wireless console.

Your PS3 shouldn't have a problem picking up the headset because when my PS3 scans for bluetooth devices it even detects my Bluetooth cellphone and my Bluetooth PS3 remote control.

Make sure that the headset is on first and then let the PS3 scan for it. If the headset isn't on then the PS3 probably won't detect it.

hey, i dont have the same version of headset but it is a jabra so i'll just say wot i did with mine.

make sure you have charged the headset for at least 2 hours before doing anything.

then go to accessory settings and register headset on your ps3. on the screen where it says scan you turn on the headset before you start scanning.

make sure the Light on your headset is solid and not flashing. i had to hold the power button down for 5 seconds to do this.

your ps3 should find it now. if a code needs to be entered then it should be in the manual that came with the headset (only if you got one of cors!)

anywayz hope that helps ya mate.

i had to hold down the button until my ps3 finds it but i have a madcatz bluetooth headset. before you start scanning, turn on the headset and hold down the power button or if theres a connect button, hold it down then start the scan on ps3(hold it down until it detects the device) and see if that works

hope this helps

i may be ignorant, but thought the ps3 was wireless enabled, not bluetooth.
