“The Messiah son of Mary was only a messenger (like other) messengers that had passed away before him. And his mother was a strong believer. They both used to eat food. Look how We make the proofs clear to them, then look how they (disbelievers) turn away.” (Quran 5:75)

“He (Jesus) was only a servant whom We have favored, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel.” (Quran 43:59)

“And (remember) when Jesus, son of Mary, said, “O Children of Israel, I am the messenger of God to you confirming the Torah that came before me, and bringing good news of a messenger that will come after me, whose his name will be Ahmed. But when he came to them with clear proofs, they said, “This is clear magic.” (Quran 61:6)

“Surely, they have disbelieved who say, ‘God is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary.’ But the Messiah said, ‘O Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Indeed, whoever sets up partners (in worship) with God, then God has forbidden him Paradise, and the Fire will be his home. And there is none to help the wrongdoers.’ Surely, disbelievers are those who say, ‘God is the third of three.’But there is no god (that deserves to be worshipped) except One God. And if they do not stop what they are saying, the disbelievers among them will suffer a painful punishment. Will they not repent to God and seek His forgiveness? For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Quran 5:72-74)

The Second Coming

“And there is not one of the people of the Scripture but will believe in him before his death.[10] And on the Day of Resurrection, he will be a witness against them.” (Quran 4:159)

“And he (Jesus) is a sign of (the coming of) the Hour, so do not doubt it. And follow Me, this is a straight path (leading to God and His paradise).” (Quran 43:61)

Before Jesus got here within the flesh, we're instructed that sinners who repented WERE stored by way of religion within the replacement slayed animal sacrifices mentioned by way of God. And like the ones of in these days, they needed to give up sinning (that is what repenting approach). The genuine atonement, nevertheless, took location with ultimate timing whilst Jesus grew to become the perfect sacrifice those animals prefigured. So earlier than Jesus got here, the folks regarded FORWARD to the go at the same time the ones after, appear BACK to the atonement at the go. Therefore, in some way, you are proper: it's the identical for individuals who repent in their sins. For folks who do not, there's no sacrifice or heaven. It relatively shouldn't have mattered whilst God could have selected to ship Jesus to earth however being gracious as He is, He gave mankind the entire prophecies had to aid guy respect the real Messiah and end up, as soon as once more, that God maintains His guarantees concerning salvation and judgments. He could not have made those any clearer.

The wages of sin is death. Of course we would die for our sins. That is the whole point. But what Jesus did for us was like jumping in front of someone to take the bullet for them, saving their life and sacrificing his own.

Jesus acted as a scapegoat for sin. Although completely innocent of all sin Himself He took the blame for our sins, so that we could be saved. His death on the Cross washed us clean of sin, otherwise we would have had no hope of entering Heaven (nothing defiled can enter Heaven).
All we have to do is repent, and believe in and accept the merits of his saving sacrifice. This gives us the passport we need to enter Heaven.

Everyone who sins (which is EVERYBODY) must die the first death, with the exception of those who are still alive when Christ returns. This is due to the sins of Adam that were passed down to us. However, those who accept the sacrifice of Christ on their behalf, will not die the second death, which is permanent. They will be resurrected when Christ returns.

The bible says that because that is what was going to happen. Everyone was going to have to die for their sins. However, Jesus sacrificed himself so that everyone else had a clean slate. Who on earth would give himself up to death to save us? He died for you. He relieved you of your mistakes.
