nostradamus02012 – I see you are quite adept at the spin! You should consider a job with MSNBC. (it doesn’t make you right, it just makes you a weasel)

Hands down Michael Murphy being awarded the Medal of Honor. I think it's great that Gore won the Nobel, but Michael Murphy lost his life to ensure that he could radio help for the rest of his men. That's a hero in my book.

Without a doubt Murphy being awarded the Medal of Honor.

Can't compare the two awards one you do really have to something really heroic and show real honor.
The other you just have to be politically popular.

I was honor by being the presents of a Medal of Honor winner tell you do will you understand the true meaning of hero.

I would leave nostradamus02012 alone he has not concept of honor.

Seems like a no-brainer, to me. Michael Murphy being awarded the Medal of Honor is WAY more significant! He is a hero and was recognized as such. gore (doesn't deserve capitalization) is a weasel and him winning the Nobel prize makes the prize seem unimportant and less prestigious, now.

Michael Murphy, without question. Anyone who thinks for a second that Gore's little movie had anything beyond political motivation at stake needs his head examined. See "The Great Global Warming Swindle" for an interesting counterthrust.

As a personal aside (I know I wasn't asked, but I feel strongly about this), I would at least equal the Dalai Lama's Gold Medal of Honor with Murphy's in significance.

michael murphy hands down. He actually SACRIFICED himself to SAVE someone else. I do not see Al Gore doing anything remotely close to that. Making a movie for a PRIZE is nowhere near the sacrifice required for the Medal of Honor. LT Murphy, god bless you for your sacrifice.

LT Michael Murphy being awarded the Medal of Honor!!!!!
Gore did not deserve the Nobel Prize for something he really has no idea about! All Gore did was profit! He made no sacrafice for anyone and did whatever he did only for himself!
Michael sacraficed himself for his men and his country!!!

Michael Murphy... SEAL who, as have many other other heroes have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Nobel prizes are given. Medals of Honor are earned.
