I'm 5'6 and apparently thats too short for most girls. Even short girls like 5'1, like 6'4 guys. That annoys me..when I see a REALLY short girl dating a REALLY tall guy. Its like haha..the girl even in these towering heels still is only up to the guys shoulder. Short girls like tall guys..tall girls like tall guys..medium height girls like tall guys..Does this mean me, and all short guys are screwed?

yes, you are kinda screwed. i'm only 5 feet tall and i usually date guys who are at least 6'2". there is something powerful about a tall man that really turns me on. :-) that being said though, i did date a guy who was only 5'5" and it was a horrible relationship, emotionally speaking, but he totally turned me on and we had awesome sex all the time. :-) so i don't discount short guys altogether, but if i have a choice: i pick tall man. yum!

My cousin is 6'3 and he can fight, his dad was a pro boxer. He knows how to box his dad trained him from a young age, he has taught me some tricks. To debunk the whole idea of a safe atmosphere my cousin told me the only fights he ever lost were with guys that were around 5'8 my size. Let's say around 200lbs to 220 lbs so watch out ladies the bigger they are the harder they fall. I'm 5'8 210lbs stocky and disproportionate, not bragging I lift easily more than my body weight I'm an endomorph, but I am not scared nor do I doubt the fact that I could absolutely destroy anyone who wants to scrap it's all about the inside tight right uppercut followed by the left hook and never doubting yourself. The reason woman like taller men is a primal code that a bigger or taller man is stronger and could much more easily defeat any opposition, couple this with the aspect of conventional thought and the way woman seem to follow what is cute because reality t.v. and Kim karcrapian say it's cute.

They might on a physical level. 1 of the reasons why girls do like the company of taller men is because of a safe atmosphere, may I just include the stereotype that taller men are stronger. This is not true. Furthermore, I am a victim of being bullied for my height back in secondary school(for you American fokes, it is the equivalent of high school), being only 5'7'' among a jungle of rugby players, this biome was not my turf. I remember an anonymous guy who was 6'7'' picking on me as I was a foot shorter and even women took this as very humorous which I was even more frustrated with. However, among my terrible attributes in physicality, I have one astonishing one he didn't, intelligence. I was very happy from leaving my school for university with two A stars and 1A. But most of all, I had the pleasure of watching him fail. We have a mutual friend and apparently he is working in petrol station while I am enjoying the wonders of micro-biology, going out for parties every week and meeting more women than he did. I'm 5'6 also and well I really like a athletic body. My ex was my height and with an athletic body. He was very appealing to me. I once liked a guys that was like 5'3 and I really was obsessed with him. I have had another crush for a guy my height and now that I think I never liked very tall guys. I kinda feel intimidated or submissive. For me it was like I always wanted to be the tall one in the relationship. Like I'd be 185 or so and the boy 175. But I'm not 185 cm so...I don't go for very tall guys. Or if I do get in a relationship with one it would have to be with a submissive boy that'd let me feel a little dominant. That's just me tho.

Girls like to have someone to lean on. I should know since I'm a girl. They feel safe around guys that are tall like they can relax. But, for the short guys, I apologize. Girls just feel better around tall guys mostly.

im 5'3 and I'm in 7th grade (btw im Layla's sister) im a girl and I don't think it's that bad of a guy is short. It would kind of look weird if the girl was a lot taller than the guy but a few inches won't hurt. (I think)

I don't hate short guys every boyfriend I have had had been shorter than me one. English 5'5 and others about 5'7 5'8....the height I hate is mine.. I'm 5'9 and would kill to be 5 foot.

The first thing I looked in a guy is to be tall, until I met this short guy who was the most confident guy I have ever known being 183cm (with heals) and he is 166cm I couldn't believe how confident this man was when other guys were so nervous around me....it was so refreshing that I didn't care he was short and after a while I found out how kind he was and for me being so confident was the most important thing, his ex was a model (even taller than me) because women LOVE it when a man is sure of himself.
When I took my heals off on our next date, he asked me to put my heals back on, as I didn't need to change. He is so amazing, after 14 years together married and have 2 kids I still adore him and I don't see his hight but all the great qualities he has.

Girls here in America are just picky. They have a glamorized ideal of a male. Best thing to do is save up and take a vacation to the Philippines. It's better travelling to a rural province area with a town center, like Vigan City. You can be short, fat, old, and not too good looking, but everything's gonna be alright. You're gonna get so many nice looking ladies smiling and waiting once you arrive. If you could just save up enough and make it over there, then prepare yourself to feel like Tom Cruise. The Philippines won't dissapoint, and the girls will love, cherish, and adore you no matter what you look like. I myself got engaged to a cutie before I left. Gonna be back for her again soon
