For an insurance company you need something real like a photo.
For a coffee product, art work.
If you want imagination; art work.
For documentation; photo.

I don't think so,
At least, in my opinion, when I see an add, and it has a great artwork around it or anything, I look better and longer at it, a pic it's just, you know, you give it a look and that's it..
at least that's what i do xD

PHOTOGRAPHY IS MORE BETTER IN ADVERTISEMENT BCOZ SOME PEOPLE MAY NOT HAVE PATIENCE TO LOOK AT THE ART. AND IT MIGHT NOT BE THAT ATTRACTIVE,.
