...people do what in life?...find happiness, right?...so in a relationship a person cheats to be happy....I caught my girlfriend in a compromising position, and i think that the logical thing to do is to accept the fact that she was not happy with me. Hence she cheated on me---to be happy......so is cheatng wrong?

yes cheating is wrong. if she wasn't happy with you she should have told you that and broke off the relationship instead for cheating on you.

Because it hurts the other half would be the correct answer. I always thought that is the only correct answer but now that I am in the situation I am in the world is suddenly not only black or white. If you are not getting what you need in a relationship but have a serious reason for not wanting to end it (for example: kids...) maybe the only way to get it is looking for it elsewhere. Personally I have never cheated before but starting to think about it. Does this answer your question? I think I may have turned it around a bit. By the way it is a very strange question to ask since you are only bored.

Kevin, cheating is never justified. If there are problems and/or one or other of the people are unhappy in the relationship then they should be mature enough to discuss this with their mate. If they can rectify this situation and get things back on track then that is great. But if they come to the conclusion that things can't be fixed then they should just put a close to that chapter of their lives and move on to other relationships, after grieving the loss of their relationship. But to cheat without communicating is just not cool in my estimation anyway.

ya happiness is great but she's just to selfish to think of you. If she wasn't happy with you then she should have ended it to make it less painful. I think cheating is wrong it breaks a lot of hearts. I pity you to ever think that it's not wrong.

cheating is wrong, by going out with you she made a commitment and a promise to be loyal to you and respect you. if she wanted to be happy she should have done it the right way and broke up with you before she did that.
