Im having alot of trouble finding the "perfect dress". All the dresses I found that are my size are just average. They arent the dress I've always dreamt about. I dont know what to do, Ive got a little over 3 months until my wedding and still dont have a dress.

Im not really picky but I deffinetely want something that looks like a wedding dress. Not something that I could wear more then once. Something thats halter or strapless and i want something thats big and "puffy" like a princess. The design really doesnt matter just white. Im just so nervous that whatever I find wont fit me. I've tried on so many dresses and they were all too small. I am going shopping again on the 3rd of November maybe I can find something then.

ALSO it has to be under 500 dollars. I found one in a store nearby. Its my size and under 200. I did love it, but thought maybe I could find something more, so maybe I will go back and get it. Thanks for all your help!

I found my dream dress ONLINE, believe it or not, at JuliusBridal.com. The dress I chose is called "Ideal" ( http://juliusbridal.com/product.asp?DressName=Ideal ), and by connecting to Julius' sister site, GownsForU.com, I was able to schedule a showroom appointment and try on not only that dress, but SEVERAL others.
Almost all the dreses are under $1,000 and there are countless styles and price ranges to choose from.
*ALSO, if you contact the designers, they will make you a replica of another dress you like, for at LEAST half the cost. They are truly amazing.*
I was very reluctant to order a dress online, but I researched the company thoroughly (to find only great reviews) and I now have the dress of my dreams . This was the best wedding decision I've made thus far!

I went to a couple places before I found The One. And the only reason I tried it on was because the embroidery was insane on it. I did not think I would like it at all. But when I came out of th dressing room, I felt like a BRIDE. Totally regal and special.
Keep searching. Make it a top priority as you have very little
time and sometimes those wedding dresses take 8-15 weeks to come in once you order (not including alterations)

Do you like the form you experience in it? Deep down you be attentive to it relatively is the final gown in the different case you won't have offered it. it is not weird and wonderful which you probably did no longer cry while he proposed, each and every person reacts in a diverse way. easily, i've got felt an identical way too (a splash weird and wonderful on the grounds that I wasn't all excited approximately each and every little factor). Then i found out it is not substantial bc i'm marrying the guy i like, interior the gown i like in front of all my acquaintances and family contributors. That brings a grin to my face purely questioning approximately it. Congrats on protecting all of it at the same time at the same time as making plans the marriage, superb of success!

Whatever you do, don't panic! You just have to spend a little time and you will find it. I went to David's Bridal and found my perfect dress on sale for $99. (The undergarments cost almost as much). The bridal consultant was wonderful and gave me a lot of gowns to try. But I knew immediately when I found THE ONE and you will, also. My wedding was this August. Blessings to you and most of all, enjoy the day.

Don't settle whatever you do. I was having a hard time finding a dress too and almost bought just some dress. I was so disappointed in the selection but just kept at it. You shouldn't just get some dress, just keep looking. You'll find the "one". It might take a while but you'll be very sad if you don't find the perfect dress. Just be patient and ask around. Go to as many dress shops as you can so you can get a good selection. You'll find one, it just might take some time.

3 months away...holy crap. You need to order a dress TODAY!...most dresses take 6 months to arrive at the bridal boutique...
If you aren't worried too much about the cost of the dress i would suggest looking at Maggie Sottero dresses. They are SOOO beautiful. I found a dress by her that I loved, went to the bridal shop to try it on and instead found my perfect dress on display there. Apparently Maggie Sottero has a 'Limited collection' line. These dresses can only be seen at selected bridal shops though. But i would suggest looking at Maggie Sottero or possibly HouseofBridal.com. they list a lof of designer names.
One suggestion though...if going to a bridal shop, just because a dresses doesn't look that good on the hanger, doesn't mean it won't look fabulous on you and possibly be "the dress"....try everything and everything on...take notes on what you don't like and what you do....like if you prefer strapless, cap sleeves, halter....or if like the looks of 'pick-ups' (i personally hated them), or a lace up back, the type of train....etc. It will help the asstiant narrow the style of dress down for you and you will be one step closer to finding the Perfect dress!

It's time to start thinking outside the box. Look for white (or ivory) dresses that aren't "wedding" dresses. I found all the traditional stuff to look average on me as well. It fit great, but they didn't wow me. Also, getting a dress that's not from a bridal shop won't have you waiting for months. I found my dress on ebay for $160. After some minor alterations, it was stunning.

It took me a very long time to find "the dress". I hated everything in Davis Bridal and I couldn't stand the idea of looking like a cookie cutter bride.
Try the following websites:
www.demetrios.com
www.pronovias.com
www.novella.com
www.bridalchalet.com (that's where I found mine)
www.houseofbrides.com
EDIT: For bargain prices (the other ones are rather upscale), try:
www.bridalonlinestore.com
www.littlecoral.com
Good luck

My (second) wedding is in 2 weeks and I have just found my prefect dress!
My daughter choose her dress at the last minute - 2 days before her wedding.
Look at e-bay or your local pre-loved shop or even the rental shops for sellouts.
Try your family - mum or mum in law, aunties, cousins etc or even girl friends. Most will be pleased to have you wear their gown again!
