Humility isn't making yourself into a "worm" or making yourself into a doormat, but it is knowing (after being born again) you are equal with Jesus in the heavenly Father's eyes.., you are loved that much (John chapters 14 thru 17 especially 17 verses 22 -23) and He is leading you and IF the world hated Him, it will hate you also.., we are extensions of Him, but you don't have to defend yourself because He will take care of you!
Humility is the strength of knowing inside yourself who you are in God and not needing to defend, or brag, or announce it. Just BE your loving, kind, gentle, self-assured self without apology or pretense.

I do not think so , though it appears to be so. it is mainly because of the Life style one tends to lead in this super fast world today. There is no time for such sentiments.......however if you do have the time to look around you will be fortunate to meet atleast a handful of people who are humble.
Humility is the foundation of all virtues... I try best to be humble and enjoy being so.

It's not but it requires that an individual step out of their ego and do regular self evaluation. Too many are too busy evaluating everyone else.

Only if you are looking for it in yourself. Look for it in others and when you find it emulate it. You'll know that you are heading in the right direction when others choose to follow your example--- and their attention makes you uncomfortable.
