I have been on it for about a week and have dropped 7 pounds. Has anyone else had results like mine?

From what I understand, after looking at the book, listening to an interview with the author on one of the morning shows, and looking at an excerpt on iVillage, it's just simply elimianting pure junk, meat and dairy from one's diet and eating whole, real natural foods. I'd like to read the book, but not buy it. Once I eliminated that stuff from my life, I lost weight. I did not do it to lose weight, but I basically learned where that stuff came from, what it was doing to the environment, etc. The weight loss was just an added bonus. Also, despite what the yogurt commercials say about improving regularity, I'm very regular without the high sugar stuff. I'm healthy, even at 185, which is only 15 pounds more than what I weighed before I gave birth. (I only gained about 34 pounds.) If I had started walking sooner, I might "only" be 180, but it's okay. Even if it gets too cool to take the baby, I'll just leave her home with my husband for a half hour or so to walk. Eventually, I'll join the university gym, which is less than $10. Even to get there, I have to walk.

I digress.

For me, it's not a diet. It's a large part of who I am.
