If you dont want to get hurt then you need to wait until she is completely over the other guy. I know it sounds difficult but if you are worried about it now its only going to get worse.

i dont think you are falling in love with her just over a couple of weeks, you are growing a large crush though im sure. You can start by befriending her and just hang out. You dont want to be her rebound.
