yes you can. I'm a 4 year recipient and i have now been in school for almost 2 years. it can be a little frustrating adapting to the civilian life and dealing with cadets that are for the most part clueless as to what the military is like. just remember though, you are in cadetland and they are not soldiers yet, so you should not have the expectations of them that you would from the soldiers you served with before. just go to class and keep your mouth shut and all will be ok. if you need more info go to the cadet command website or your schools/re-enlistment nco.

I do not know about 4 years for certain, but let me warn you on something I noticed about the Green to Gold students that were at my AROTC program.

A lot had problems adapting. They came from the real Army to AROTC that is a play Army. They were used to real LTCs that knew what there were doing to taking orders from a 21 year old Cadet LTC that didn't know anything. A lot got frustrated, left, went to OCS and got their commissions that way.

Just remember, when a Cadet Officer gives you an order, even if it is stupid, try to encourage them to do something else, be a team player, but don't push it too far. Its supposed to be a learning experience. Remeber, you came to their world, it's not the world you left.
