When talking to someone online, you can very easily lie, as your voice tone, facial expression and gestures are not visible. If you do not know your online friend in person, it is not a very good idea to tell him/her everything about yourself, as you don't really know who he/she really is.

Please do not take offence at my answer, but I have a strong feeling that you should be a wee bitty wary of your friend. I also think you may have to mother him and watch that vulnerable side. Trust is the most important thing in a relationship, but you do not know him well enough yet. Why don't you meet him and have fun and go out and enjoy yourselves and slowly develop a relationship. A man who confides his feelings to a woman does not necessarily fancy her. Please take your time. Something is not feeling right here and I am sorry to offend you but I feel you need a friend to talk to about this before getting involved deeper.

Depends on how well you know this guy. I'd be very suspicious of anyone I'd only met online and knew very little about if they started telling me personal stuff. He might be trying to 'soften you up' before suggesting a meeting. Be wary!
But yes, it is good to have a woman you can trust and share feelings with, but I'd only do this with a 'real' person, not an anoymous cyber pal.

Even as a man, ..as a married man I keep asking myself the same question.
The answer is simple really: A whole package of femininity, i.e. a listening, trusting, entertaining, beautiful, caring woman. And sexy too.

A luxury Barlays Bank machine in the shape of a woman.
They are emotionally detached and just want to get their rocks off, have their clothes washed , 3 meals a day and a clean bed to sleep in. Any woman can do this for them, they are not that fussed.
PS. People can put on terrific acts online. Beware!

Maybe he thinks this is what you want and so he's opening up to you so that your feelings may grow romantically for him? Just make sure you dont tell anyone what he says and never use them against him in an arguement.

Listen my dear, ,
man cant talk to other men about private issuers
,women are so lucky, they talk to each other' even the smallest problems, men need some mother sister friend to elaborate their smallest fears, so be charitable and listen to this unfortunate man,
One day you will need some one special to have council with
