Your dr or pharmacist may be able to answer that question. If you are feeling tired or groggy, they say not to operate a moving vehicle or machinery. And please note that xanax, one of the benzo's (not to alarm you) which also includes ativan, valium and klonopin can be very physically addictive and should Not be stopped abruptly and only under a dr's supervision as seizures, psychosis or even death can occur. If you are taking the xanax for anxiety, the ssri (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) antidepressants such as prozac, zoloft or paxil are supposed to be much more effective in the long run. The ssri's, however, can take 4-6 weeks to take effect (though well worth it as I take prozac myself in addition to receiving therapy).

If you're able to provide a valid perscription, then don't worry about it- even if it's still in your system, there's nothing they can do about it if it's perscribed to you. Otherwise, if you took it a couple days ago, I don't think they'd still pick it up on a drug test, but I'm not sure. Either way, you've gotta take that test today, so there's no use in worrying about it.

The type of medication it is normally is one to stay for along time, but that is a very low dose, so I would say you could flush it in a few days. Look up benzopines.

one would hope that it was prescribed for you, if not, you are foolish to take someone else's medications.
Xanax stays in the system for 24 hours and is excreted thru the kidneys, dosage doesn't matter.

In your system? I'd say for a little while, although I am not sure. I know that it can effect you for hours at time making you drowsy and "out of it"

Pills take about 72 hrs to exit the system
Marijuana takes 30 days
Cocaine is pretty indefinite but I'm not sure. I know it stays in your hair as long has you keep your hair the same length.
You shouldn't take that, it's dangerous and could damage your central nervous system as well as your brain.
