im thirteen. i dont starve myself or anything but i am always making new diet ideas for myself and workout routines. i workout 2 hours almost everynight and 30 minutes every morning. i only eat a small breakfast a small lunch and a normal sized didnner. i dont eat sweets or drink soda and i dont eat a lot of carbs or fats or calories. is this bad for me or good for me????

the regular exercise is great for you but severely restricting your calories during the growth years (puberty) can cause permanent damage to the endocrine system as it will not develop normally with an extended reduced caloric intake.

you should never consume less calories than "your" BMR requires and during puberty it would actually be better to get a slight caloric excess of the right foods (whole foods).

Well, if your looking to lose fat, then its bad. You have to eat more. Your body needs protein and carbs in order to have energy and to help you grow. You should have atleast 5 small meals a day. I know its hard, I feel like a fatty if I eat that much eventhough I know everything I put in my body is good. There is still the subconscience side telling me I am putting on weight. thats not too healthy of a lifestyle being that your really young. Talk to a dietician and see if they can't help you devise a plan. Good Luck

I don't think that it's bad for you, your not a sterotype that's for sure. I would start to incorporate some snacks as well like fruit between breakfast and lunch or acereal bar and fruit or a protein bar between lunch and dinner. You just need to make sure you are getting enough calories
