They probally will, but not very many.

In 2007 the Air Force recruited 30,000 new members, but only allowed 41 prior service to enlist.

In 2008, the recruiting goal is only 27,000, so you figure even less prior service will be allowed.

In 2007, the Air Force only accepted prior service in the following fields:

Combat controller
Para rescue
Lingustics

Or prior service from other branch :

Linguistics - any branch
Army - Ranger or Special forces
Navy - Seal
Marine - Force Recon

The last three above, were for those willing to volunteer for CCT or PJ.

The Air Force (and all of the other services) have always and are most likely to continue to accept prior service members that meet enlistment requirements.

As of today No we are not, but they are currently working on the prior service program and should know something by mid-november

NO. the AF is not ACCEPTING(note spelling) any PS unless they can immediately go into a few specific critically undermanned jobs with no additional training.
