it's like their hatred towards Catholics and Catholicism is the only thing that's giving them life. has anyone ever noticed the same thing?

LOL, Raven, Biblicists reveal their own hatred without them being aware of it. they can always prove any point we Catholics make.

Raven, maybe that's what we should do, email Sandra and ask her about the mind of God. she even can tell how doubtful I am with my religion as to even stand for it with eyes wide open, isn't that amazing? to top it all, I didn't know I was in doubt! Sandra is amazingly omniscient!

Well, when I came to this country I went with my son to the congregation where he was going.
I had a very open mind then but I was surprised by several things, one of them the fact that the pastor, as they called the guy that directed the gathering, was hurling insults to the Catholics.
That was extremely unpleasant. NEVER, I repeat, NEVER have I seen or heard a priest bad mouthing anyone of a different denomination, but rather called them: "our protestant brothers", with the greatest respect

Pastor Billy says: isn't a real Biblicist also a Catholic? After all the Christian bible is a Catholic book but I understand who are labelling here. To be brief, the origin of the Biblicists (Protestant) is to be anti-Catholic by nature. Read some of the first Protestant confessions sometime. Many of the novel and far removed descendants of these communities still incorporate such statements such as the Westminster Confession into their statements of faith today. Some of them water-down the original anti-Catholic professions and others amplify them

Anyone who claims to be Christian should not be hating or judging anyone. This hatred and bigotry is what gives Christianity a bad name. Although I do not necessarily agree with the way Catholics worship they are still Christians. The definition of Christian: 1. Professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.
2. Relating to or derived from Jesus or Jesus's teachings.
3. Manifesting the qualities or spirit of Jesus; Christlike.
4. Relating to or characteristic of Christianity or its adherents.
5. Showing a loving concern for others; humane
Look very closely at these definitions. No where does it say to hate anyone.

I think you what you really mean are "bibliolatrists" - those who do not worship God, but worship an idol called the bible. Not all Protestants are bibliolatrists; there are many who look at Christian faith the way Catholics do: as an applied and daily-lived approach to living in a reconciled relationship with Christ.
This is not what bibliolatrists have. Bibliolatrists are not Christians, as they do not have Christ.
Although the bible is God's word, and to be taken seriously, a very few have actually conflated the bible with God himself. They are not interested in the bible, where it came from, how it came to have its present day form, the difficulties translators have had getting it into modern languages.
To these folks, there is no God or Christ other than the bible. They bow down to this idol and worship it, substituting worship for the one true God with worship of a leather bound KJV.

The other thing is that they're so full of arrogance and pride that they consider their interpretations to be the absolute truth.
CJ says we give him so many opportunities to preach the truth. Oregon Flower says they simply point out "biblical truths."
And yet, what they post is nothing more than personal opinion, private interpretation and biased, false information. So why would anyone take their comments as the absolute truth? And how could they be arrogant and conceited enough to believe that everyone should accept their opinions as absolute truth?
I, for one, am appalled...especially considering how much their ideas differ from early Church teaching.
It all comes down to this: They need to feel validated. They need to be reassured that they are correct. So anyone who disagrees with them is considered an enemy and will automatically roast in hell, like a pig at a Hawaiian Luau.
Peace and blessings. Thank you for this question, as it seems that several of the answers have already proven your point.

I wonder who's really "wasting countless hours". Seeing my faith repeatedly called a "cult", "man-made", "unsaved", "hell-bound", etc. by self-righteous anti-Catholic bigots hasn't once caused me to say to myself, gee, I guess I'm in the wrong place, somebody find me a Bible ...
... oh, wait, I already have one (several, in fact) ... and better yet I actually read it. Has the "truth" these johnny-come-lately free-lance Bible interpreters been found there? Nope, I'm still Catholic.
As for that old "I don't hate Catholics, I just hate the Catholic Church" or "I'm just telling them the truth in love" bit -- spare me. It's condescending and I don't believe it for one minute. Hate to break it to the reformation heirs but the Catholic Church is not your mission field, nor have we wandered away from the truth. It's the other way around.

Why is it that disagreement is associated with hatred?
I agree with Roman Catholics on many issues; but I disagree also on other issues.
I do not hate people because we disagree with each other!
God is love and wants us to love each other.
That should not stop us from openly discussing the teaching of scripture.
Love The Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. Also, love your neighbour as yourself.

You have CJ, jesussaves, oregon flower, suzi and O'Brien, just to mention a few, who apparently sit here all day and look for the word Catholic in any question just so they can spread their hatred. And the funny thing is, they aren't doing a dang thing to us - except solidifying our beliefs. Pretty dumb of them, I'd say.

They are caught in the shallow trap of words. They think that quoting verse and chapter is the same as joining in that life. But as Paul said "we are not of the letter, but of the spirit, for the spirit gives life, but the letter killeth"
