I have this cousin and she's twenty years old. She always thinks she's better than me in everything and actually it's the opposite ,I myself know how to deal with things better than her in thinking wise.First of all she's not good in studying she's left back 3 years in college and she never hangs out with girls.She always hangs out with our boy cousins . She always answers her mother and father back,what's wierd is that she never cries when someone shouts at her.She makes them cry.And for the way she dresses,she always wears pants and walks without a personal bag.Tat's one of the reasons that noone came to ask for her marriage.I just want her to get married fast so I don't see her much.There is this kind of serious hatred between us.Am I gonna last my whole life like this??

Apparently there is a lot of bitterness between you.
I dont know if it will last, but for the sake of your heart I hope it doesnt.
Its a false western idea that we can separate out parts of our lives and have a work self thats not our home self, or a living room self thats not our bedroom self. We are whole and consistent beings, and each part touches (or taints) all the other parts.
I dont know if it will last, but I hope for your hearts sake that it doesnt.

So.. obviously she has some insecurity issues, which appears to be why she feels the need to compare herself to you. I'm not sure how or why that has to do with you marrying off quicker. Don't let her reckless attitude or decisions be a deciding factor in how you want to live your life. Keep your distance if she bothers you so much.

She is just a cousin after all and she should not botther you. Leave her alone to vent for herself and care for her marriage. If you truly want to didge her don`t involve in her marriage coz it will haunt u in case anything goes wrong. Get friends to keep you busy.

No it will get better - you will come to see her as someone who really needs a friend.
she will ripen and mature. you two will grow old together. almost like sisters. you will forgive her and she will be thankful for it.
