I have studied several languages: English- Thank you; French- Merci; German- Danke; Spanish- Gracias; Italian- Grazie; Japanese- Arigato; Mandarin Chinese- Xei xei; Cantonese Chinese has 3 forms of it- Dojeh for gifts, M'goi for services and Yau sum for good wishes.
