In my dream I was in a flooded house and the lighting came through the house and hit my shoulder. I could feel it. I was being electricuted and my brother tried to stop the lighting but he failed. When the electricution stopped, I remember beggin god to let me live while I checked my own pulse. I lived I think, then I woke up. It was so intense and felt so real. What does a dream like that mean?

This is what the dream means: The lighting is symbolic of the judgement of God and it also represents His voice. Being in a flooded house represents the Word of God judging you in issues in your life, (but not condemning you). Shoulder is also significant. Shoulder represents bearing burdens. If the lightning hit you on the right shoulder it means there is a burden you should be carrying. If it was the left shoulder, it means that there is a burdern you shouldn't be carrying. Basically, the Lord is showing you that He wants you to cast all your cares on Him, because you are trying to handle the issues in your life on your own strength and it pulling you down.

The house represents you, your earthly body, all the water and flooding means you have been in a highly emotional state lately. (being "flooded" with emotion "water")You have had to "shoulder" some responsibility (lightning, or a bolt from the blue?)and you don't know if you can deal with it. You want to make it through the ordeal and be ok. (checking your pulse) You are saying to yourself you will live.

as for me, i don't usually believe in the meaning of dreams. because several researchs about it do not present accurate results.
i experienced that too.
i was stabbed in the back several times, and woke up exhausted as if my body wasn't able to absorb oxygen anymore. it took me almost an hour to recover, and my back by that time REALLY felt cold. my sweat too.
another dream, a bomb exploded in front of me.
my whole body was burnt, and i felt that until i woke up but went gone just a couple of seconds ago.
it was just ok, i think, and the pain we felt was psychological (i think). don't worry about it! enjoy experiencing pain in dreams! it won't harm you, though.
