when i first walk out to the stage i'll be a little nervous, but once i start, i feel just pure joy and become totally immersed in the music. when i finish and stand up to take my bow, the euphoria is so great when i hear the applause from my audience. it's a joy for me to share my music with the audience and take them through the journey of the piece - kinda like storytelling :). i do believe i'm born a 'performer' not because of my skills or whatever, but rather it's because the stage speaks to me so much. i've been performing since 6.

The most comfortable place on earth to me is 'inside' a song. When I'm performing I feel totally at ease because I know it is the one thing I'm really good at. It gives me confidence whereas many other situations make me feel just the opposite.

I feel exhilarated, but I get a little nervous if I haven't practiced enough.
