Rememver you can register mobiles numbers as well to stop unwanted texts too!!Takes about 28 days to have full effect!!!

if the company is uk based, doesnt matter where the call centre is, once registered with tps it is illegal for them to call you unless you have told them they can call you. if they keep calling get the company name and report them to the tps, alternately tell them you are registered and they are breaking the law, they soon hang up.

This really works but you still get a few calls from Bombay! When you do if you keep asking for the address of their UK office (so you can report them) it seems to stop them phoning again.

Just register (is free) and give it a month roughly - anyone you HAVE dealt with though in the past can still get through to you.
