delay accepting ask then for a couple of days to think about their offer (salary package, benefits and so on) and do your thing. Or, if you feel pretty confident and think that you have them at your little finger, then just say you will think about it and you are currently expecting another offer and you will make your choice in short time.

If you are offered the 24th job, tell them you'd like a few days to consider their offer. You could also use that time to negotiate for a higher rate of pay. In the meantime, go to your 30th interview and at the conclusion when they ask what questions you have, (ask them something clever as well but also) ask them what their timeline is for hiring as you have several offers on the table and will be deciding shortly. Do your best with both interviews and keep your mind open - the 24th may end up being the better job for you, just be open to all possibilities. Good luck!!

When they ask you when you would be able to start, you can say that you would be able to a week after the 30th. THis gives you the time to have the 30th's interview and wait the results.
A caution on this. If they want you start earlier, then you may lose out on the job and there's no guarentee you will get the job on the 30th.
Another option is to accept the job on the 24th, if you get it. Most companies have a "trial probationary" time, where you and the employer use the time to ensure a good fit. You can then walk away to the job your really want.

Ask for a week to consider their offer. You don't have to accept the offer the same day as your interview. A week will give you time to go to the other interview...and if you get the job on the 30th, simply tell the people from the 24th "thanks for your time and I really appreciate the offer, but I've decided I'm no longer interested" or something to that effect.

You don't have to accept a job the day that is offered. You can ask for a little time to consider. Or you can accept the job and ask for a starting date two weeks out. If you get offered the later job, you can call back the first employer and apologize but tell them that you must rescind your acceptance due to a change in your personal situation. No long explanation needed. They will probably still have the applications from the runners up handy and will just call their #2 choice.

I honestly would tell the one that you are interviewing with first (tomorrow) that you need to discuss it with your parents or significant other and you will get back to them by Oct. 30th. If they give you a hard time then maybe they are not someone you want to work for anyway, if you are that good then you should be worth a few day wait, normally starting a new job is pretty flexible unless they need someone right that moment.

accept the job from the 24th - you can decline it if you get offered the one from the 30th. Don't feel bad that you've "let them down" - you have to do what's best for you...

stall them! tell them you're away for the weekend and therefore wouldn't be around to receive any post if they sent you a job offer. You could stall long enough with an offer from the 24th until 30th and then at the second interview if you feel it's gone well, tell them you're in demand and ask how long it will take them to let you know.

They do not need to know you have another interview. At the interview where you really want to work, just ask them for a weeks grace before starting (due to personal reasons). If they really want you, they will honour this. Don't worry, all will be ok for you. Just pat yourself on the back that two places might be right for you! Good Luck whatever your choice is.

Difficult. I would advise being honest. Whatever you do, don't accept the job verbally, thinking you can back out before confirming in writing. Nowadays, a verbal acceptance is considered binding. Good luck - I hope you get one of these jobs!
