no, not by the actuarial tables, but how much of that is muscle and how much is body fat? If you are concerned about your health rather than your appearance, suggest you have your body fat content measured.

First of all, I'd like to praise you for your effort to be at a healthy weight range. I wouldn't recommend dieting at your age, your body is developing very rapidly at this age and you need all the supplements you can get. Puberty will usually change your body drastically. In two years you might grow by 6 inches and be extremely thin! But if you want results in the near future, then it's all about the calorie intake vs. the calories burned. The trick is to burn more calories than you take in. As mentioned in a previous comment, you probably intake about 3000-4000 calories a day. You don't burn up all those on the treadmill because you burn calories constantly throughout your day. But walking for an hour or jogging for 20 minutes should get you to your goal with in a reasonable time. Within 4-6 weeks of working out daily is when you start to notice real results. If the treadmill is too boring, ask your parents to look into signing you up for recreational sports. Or see if your school has any sports that you can sign up for. When I went through high school, I played every sport that I could cram into my schedule, and the intensive workout really helped me shape my body into the body of an athlete. Good luck, man. I hope this helps.

Well plug those numbers into a BMI calculator. If you are in "normal" range, then you aren't overweight. If the BMI says you are in overweight range you MAY be overweight. If you have a wide frame, or have more muscle than the average person you could be overweight on BMI but actually normal.
BMI calculator sez you are at the high end of normal.

not at all!!
i'm 5'5 and weight 140
some people are just bigged boned, and it depends on you frame and such.
if you are indeed worrying about being over weight check with a doctor and see if there are any small diets you can go on. But I think thats a good range to be in is 135-150.

I think you could probably lose about 10 pounds and you would be fine. I'm 5"6" and 120 but I am small boned. I would say the average is 135 for our height.

It’s an age old trick but vertical stripes really do stretch you out. The contrast of colour straight along splits your body in 1 / 2.

Don’t focus on your weaknesses, spotlight your best bits. Tiny waist? Belt it in. Stunning bust? Lower the neckline. Well developed butt? Rock tight jeans. Alluring legs? Show ‘em off. It’s really that easy.

For sandwich-lovers, use spinach or swiss chard leaves instead of a wrap, skip the portion of cheese, and load through to the veggies.
