He's 25 & I'm 32. We have a strong sexual attraction but also are close & have a great friendship. Don't think he was just after sex either. I think I may offended him during and after sex by making comments that we had too much to drink (he was a little drunk) but that was only because I thought he would regret it & we could use alcohol as an excuse. We hardly ever talk on phone..either text or see each other at the gym (he teaches there). Sent him a text 4 days after sex and said I had great time but made comment that it would've been better without whiskey. Now I regret saying that. He's clearly avoiding me at the gym now(won't even look @me) but it almost seems like his feelings are hurt. Is it because of what I said? How can I find out if he's hurt or is just done with me cause he didn't have fun and/or got what he wanted? Don't want to keep making moves if he's just being a jerk but if he's hurt I want to fix it.

When you said "it would've been better without whisky" he may have taken that to mean you felt that he wasn't that good in bed.

if he really liked you and was in love with you what you said wouldnt have bothered him. it certainly wouldnt have bothered me. sounds like he was just after sex while he was drunk. if he wasnt just after sex then it sounds as tho he needs to grow up a little but. theres no need to act like that at 25....maybe 16 to 18 but not 25

I learnt this lesson the hard way as well - I slept with 2 friends and lost them, due to embarrassment and misunderstandings. He's gone, don't waste any more time worrying about it.

Why don't you ask him out on a date and say we aren't going to drink to see if there is a real attraction. I am sure he likes you and that comment kind of hurt him

He was after sex.

"it would have.." said to him "You weren't that good"

Can you fix it..Dunno

Avoid the alcohol from now on.. it ruins your libido..
and if you don't drink he will at least, drink less...
