I have a friend that has been cheating for around 2 months. I have encouraged her strongly to tell her boyfriend, but she has not. I don't really know her boyfriend but I know what she is doing to him is wrong, should I tell him?

I really feel that you should. He deserves to know. Cheating is really quite despicable, and while some people can justify acting that coldly, someone is still getting hurt, and as a human being he deserves to know.

Yes, you should let him know. Either send him an anonymous letter or call him from a pay phone. Don't give your name or anything. This will cause them to deal with the situation and everyone will be better off in the end. Just make sure that you don't tell your friend you are going to do this and don't talk to her about it just before you do it. You need to let some time pass between talking to her about her cheating and telling her boyfriend so that she won't think it was you.

As a bloke I can only say if this was happening to me hell yeah I'd want to know.

I'm sure if it was the other way round all the women who have answered this would be saying to tell on the no good cheating boyfriend, so it has to work both ways/.

Face it your friend is a slapper.

Cheating is a horrible thing to do to someone. But if you tell your friends boyfriend - chance are that he will not believe you and you may be out a friend. I think you are going to have to let it run it course. She will get caught and it would be better for you if you are not involved with it.

Pick who to be friends with carefully.

If you feel you've got moral ground to tell the BF go ahead. Sounds like this girl needs a lesson in faithfulness and morals.

Consider sending him an anonymous tip to keep from being to involved. I'm sure the girl will suspect you one way or another and you'll be accused of medling.

I would because if i was the boyfriend i would want to know as i'm sure she would if he cheated on her, and as i'm sure you would. At the end of the day these things always come out anyway!! So sooner or later he's going to find out !! lets hope it wont be an STD.

do you really think any girl would go up to a guy and be like "i'm cheating on you so let's break up."? no. so your friend probably just doesn't have the guts. you should tell her that she really needs to tell her boyfriend or you will. set a time limit. when it's over tell him.

question is who is more your friend? Stay out of it unless (with no other alter/romantic intensions) he is someone you have known longer. You have stated you are her friend so that kinda binds you. If he is a good guy that calls himself in love... He should know, and if she is going all the way with the other guy, he should probably be tipped off because there is this thing called std's. Good Luck

Stay out of it...it's not your relationship and you could lose your friendship. If she is old enough to date, have a boyfriend and cheat then she is old enough to tell him as well. If not, then that's on her and not you. Get on with your life and stop being concerned about hers.

:)
