It's hard because old habits are hard to break. Credit bureaus realize that people who default on loans or make late payments will do so over and over again. Therefore one late payment or charge-off will mean that you are a high risk borrower. It takes longer to prove that you are responsible, than it is to prove that you are not.

Do this.....the most difficult bad credit problem is bankruptcy.

Go to http://www.lifeafterbankrutpcy.com and check out their newsletters and educational pages....find out how they suggest people who filed bankruptcy restore their credit.....that will give you some good ideas.
